Wellness is a daily investment you make in yourself.

After suffering from chronic health challenges as a teenager, I came across a book called, “Fit For Life” that changed everything for me.

This book was the key catalyst that taught me the power of self-responsibility when it comes to health, wellness and the quality of life we experience.

Having recently turned 51, life has taught me that the secret to continuing to thrive (not just survive), is the investment you make in your daily wellness routine. The more deposits you make in your daily “wellness bank”, the more you are rewarded as you age - and its never too late re-open your account!

Professionally, I spent 14 years as lead facilitator for Don Tolman’s live health events in Australia. These programs were dedicated to helping people simplify the game of health with timeless principles.

Today, I remain the chief content creator for Tolman Self Care, responsible for delivering a daily blog to tens of thousands of people around the globe.

In my personal life, I have been married to Inga since 1999 and we have three amazing ‘grown-up’ daughters. These days, my main passion is health, fitness and cross-country mountain biking, where I participate in multi-day stage race events.

My goal is to help people take back control of their physical and mental wellbeing by prioritising the things that make the most difference. This is how you can re-build your health confidence, extend your health span and avoid the rapid decline that happens to most people once they reach their 40’s and beyond!

I believe that the path to life-long wellness is built on the 4 key pillars of Mindset, Nutrition, Movement and Lifestyle.

Its not about crazy diets or unsustainable exercise programs, but a basic set of standards or frameworks that are easy to intertwine into your everyday life.

When you keep your daily wellness routine simple it is sustainable. And this is key to looking and feeling great, even as you age!
